Hello Pavel, thank you very much for this really good app. I would still like to see a clean bell. The current one seems to consist of 3 - 4 samples that are played randomly. With some it sounds like a double stroke. This irritates a bit especially with microtiming.
Just a suggestion for future, it would be good to have several loops in the rhythm as most mandingue rhythms alternate between basic part and echauffement (with a transition cycle before and after the echauffement)
Hi djembetime, for me it should be very usefull when it is possible to creat a pdf file of the rhythm i have made
4/4 is wrong, what’s displayed is actually 2/4, while 4/4 has four beats per measure. While 6/8 is not wrong as such, most mandingue rhythms are in 12/8 (again with 4 beats per bar not just 2) . It is of course possible to notate by using 2 bars of 6/8 but is less convenient and conceptually not right.
Sound of stick hitting dundun rim
Is it possible to add another sound to the three dundun parts? Dundun players often hit the rim of the dundun with the stick within breaks / calls / signals.
I'm using iPhone 11... unless I'm missing something the export as AIFF is greyed out, only works to export as M4A. AIFF or WAV option would be great. Thanks for an otherwise great app!!
I would like a way to keep track of which hand plays- Gn or Dn, go or do, Pa or Ta. Colors perhaps?
He Pasha, do you have plans to create a place, where users can put or swap there rhythms with each other?
It would be great to know what the symbols mean. I assume the loopy note is bass. But while I think the filled note is the tone & the x the slap, I’m not sure.
